Born in 1945 and educated in West Norfolk, Peter settled in Norwich. He always had a passion for the art world, painting and drawing.
In 1972 he set out as a professional artist, mainly self taught, working on paintings and illustrations for private commissions, industry, architectural development, book publishers and advertising. In 1976 he joined the Guild of Aviation Artists in London which increased his involvement with the aviation industry to research his material.
Peter's work can be found in Government offices, boardrooms and general publication.
He believed it was essential, where possible, to experience the realness and be able to have an affinity and understanding of the subject he was painting.
For his aviation subjects this involved Peter flying with several squadrons of the Royal Air Force in order to gain the experience and detail which undoubtedly shows through in his work.
Sadly, Peter passed away in 2017, but this website remains as a tribute to his life and work, which is still enjoyed today by an abundance of admirers and will be for many years to come.
